Undoubtedly, the quality of the IT services increasingly influences the success in the market business. If the necessary capability and performance is lacking for them, the business processes close to the market inevitably suffer. However, the question of how the quality of the IT services can be sufficiently measured has not been able to be sufficiently answered. The usual methods are insufficient therefor, as rulebooks like ITIL®, COBIT® etc. do not offer sufficient procedures and assessment aids for this requirement.

For this reason, the ITSM Consulting AG with the IT Quality Healthcheck has not only developed its own method, based on an intelligent combination of various frameworks and has already been proven in practice for instance in a DAX company, but it also represents the core of the certificate "TÜV Approved IT Service Quality" of TÜV AUSTRIA. This certificate initially offers IT organisations the possibility of proving their own quality level to the customers and business partners, respectively to their own Management in an objective and convincing manner.

Optimisation of the IT Services inclusively

If the IT services - for instance in the service catalogue of the company - are provided with a TÜV seal, they enjoy a higher trust and a higher appreciation. However, its benefit does not reside solely therein. Moreover, in the scope of the certification, it is also being determined at the same time, where in the IT services possible quality weaknesses or even risks can be situated. Insofar, the already existing strategies for the quality optimisation are actively supported, as necessary optimisation measures and investment priorities can be clearly identified.

Such critical insights should preferably not even occur, as an initial analysis can be performed in advance, where the certification perspectives can be determined. As far as weaknesses are analysed in this pre-assessment, the necessary optimisation of the pertaining IT services takes place. The ITSM Consulting AG subsequently confirms the effectiveness of the implemented improvement measures, basing on which the TÜV certification is conducted.

To this purpose, the TÜV TRUST IT performs a precise investigation of the IT services desired by the company aligned to the IT Quality Healthcheck. The quality seal has a validity of three years. In general, a granted certification is verified by a monitoring once a year.
